Are you confused when you hear people talk about content in relation to promoting your business? What is content?

I’m going to try to answer this question in the context of your business with a short and to the point definition of content and why it should matter to you as a business owner.  If you’re browsing my site and services and wondering what I’m talking about when I mention content, read this.

In short, content is all the images and writing that you use to communicate with others about your business. All businesses at some point will produce content.

Do you have a website? The text and images on those web pages are your content.

Do you have a brochure? The text and images included are your content.

Do you have a blog on your website, a FAQs section, or maybe even a useful download on your site? That’s content.

Do you create custom images to share on social media? That’s content.

Your content can be purposed to give basic information about your products or services to prospective clients, build trust in you and your business, and of course good content should always sell your business well to others and ultimately win you more sales.
