Since 2014, I have worked with a variety of clients across different sectors including the professions, design, architecture, tourism and hospitality, health and well-being, industry, media, motoring and publishing. There has also been some work with the local authorities and with not for profit clubs and organisations. I really enjoy my work and I love to get to know you and your business so that I can provide a consistently top quality writing and editing service. La Côte is an award-winning seafood restaurant in Wexford specialising in high-end cuisine using the finest local produce. The client came to me while the website was being redesigned. Paul and Edwina Hynes were looking for help to tell the story of their business and raise more awareness about their skills, achievements, and the provenance of the food served at La Côte. The client was interviewed to gather the information needed to get a sense of the history and values of the business, and the owners’ experiences and passions in life. The website is now a fantastic showcase for La Côte, and the new web content really communicates the owners’ uniqueness, creativity, strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. The website is also a valuable source of information that can be used to answer journalist and media enquiries.
“We were looking for a creative content writer for our new website, to interpret our story. Caroline took our information and was able to articulate what we were about so our customers could get a feel and understanding of us and our restaurant. She is great at what she does. We would recommend her to anyone”.

The Digital Learning Club
The Digital Learning Club is a new initiative for Gorey founded by Mayte McGuinness of MediasKool. It is a free club where members of the public bring their own devices and are encouraged to learn and share digital knowledge. Mayte asked me to help her with PR & Communications for the launch of the new initiative. A press release was written for local press and was published, with Mayte subsequently asked to speak on local radio. Facebook and Twitter posts were also written to help publicise information about the new Club. After the first information evening was held, another press release was written, helping to further boost awareness of the new initiative in Gorey among the target market. The Digital Learning Club was launched to great success with over 50 members signed up in the first few weeks.
